Climate Innovation Forum 2023

CCLS alumna, Vishakha Joshi, has recently acted as a speaker for a Roundtable event at a prestigious Climate Innovation Forum in London.

Climate Innovation Forum 2023 was held on 28th June 2023 at Guildhall, London, UK, and during that event, Climate Clock was activated by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and His Majesty King Charles III. The event was attended by several high-level experts in the Climate Change field.

Vishakha Joshi (Corporate and Commercial Law LLM, 2022) acted as one of the speakers for the roundtable event at Climate Innovation Forum on the topic of “Climate Justice” which was moderated by Bianca Pitt (Co-Founder of SHE Changes Climate) and Michelle Arellano-Meza (Manager, Membership and Future Energy Leaders at World Energy Council).

Joshi is also the organiser of a recent Climate Café, which is a concept of individuals coming together and expressing their thoughts on Climate Change. It as an inclusive informal space to have open conversations on various aspects of Climate Change i.e. Mitigation, Adaptation, Resilience, Impacts etc.

Experts and any individuals interested in learning about climate change or sharing climate anxiety are welcome at these events. During the Climate Café held at Allbirds in Covent Garden, London on 17th May 2023, organized by Vishakha Joshi, several experts in this field were present. The event helped to facilitate networking, in-depth learning and gaining insights from the experts for all participants.
