Yashvardhan Rana (Intellectual Property LLM, 2016) has been recently recognised by the Asian Legal Business (ALB) India Rising Star award by Thomson Reuters.

Yashvardhan is an Intellectual Property Lawyer with a particular focus on IP prosecution practice encompassing a broad range of areas including registrability analysis and risk management, legal opinion on trademark clearance and protection strategy for the availability of use, adoption and registrability of trademarks to be launched by individuals, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies as well as top FMCG’s in India and large corporations. Additionally, he provides legal assistance to clients regarding their branding and marketing needs. He is based in New Delhi and is an active member of the Bar Council of Delhi, Delhi High Court Bar Association, Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and other prestigious professional organisations.

In January, 2020, Yashvardhan was appointed as an Editor, The Trade Mark Reporter, INTA and subsequently inducted in the Academic Committee starting January, 2022. In November, 2019, he was the recipient of the ‘Top 50 Emerging IP Professional' in the world award - The IPR Gorilla, 2nd Edition held in Dubai. In April, 2020, he was recognized as a ‘Top Achiever’ by his alma mater — Symbiosis Law School, Pune. He is also a Committee Member of the CCLS India Chapter. In May, 2020, he was appointed as an 'Esteemed Member' of the FICCI IP Forum, CIPAM in collaboration with Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprise, Government of India to address the existing and evolving Intellectual Property rights issues in India along with stalwarts from the legal industry.
