Sanna (International Business Law LLM, 2016) was appointed as the Secretary General of the Finland Arbitration Institute (FAI) in September 2021. In this role, she is leading the institute’s global and domestic operations and marketing.

Previously, Sanna acted as attorney-at-law with Avance Attorneys in Helsinki, Finland, where she primarily practiced commercial arbitration and litigation. During her studies at CCLS, Sanna focused on international and commercial arbitration. In an interview with the FAI, Sanna explained how her passion for arbitration is rooted in her education: "Access to peaceful resolution of commercial, political and social unrest in the world is an essential prerequisite for the whole of humankind. Promoting the effective resolution of disputes has been one of the most intrinsic personal values for me in law since law school, and I’m very happy to be able to contribute to the community in my new role."
