Kannan Gnanasihamani has sadly died at the age of 52. After graduating from Computer and Communications Law in 2001, Gnanasihamani went on to work on high profile cases as the Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General's Chambers in Singapore, where he was also a senior state counsel and a senior director of the crime division.

A statement released by the AGC describes Gnanasihamani as ‘a pioneer in the fields of technology crime and digital evidence’ who was ‘relentless in his pursuit of justice, and was guided by a sense of mission to work towards building a fairer and safer society.’
