Chaitanya Hariharan, current CCLS student has won the Preiskel and Co. LLP essay competition organized by QMUL.

I won the runner up prize at the Preiskel and Co. LLP essay competition organized by QMUL. The aim of the competition was to encourage LLM students to write a well-researched essay containing an in-depth analysis of a current topic with practical application. I wrote an essay on Smart contracts for start-ups and GDPR compliance - focusing mainly on Article 17 and Article 22 of the GDPR. Bagging the runners up prize was a long shot for me as I got to know about the competition only 2 days before the deadline and nevertheless, I decided to take the plunge. I will forever be grateful to QMUL for organizing this competition and providing us this opportunity as it has made me realize that I can deliver excellent results in tight deadlines.
