Graduate Outcomes Survey
The Graduate Outcomes survey is a national survey that captures the employment or study status of graduates 15 months after they finish their course.
All Queen Mary graduates will be asked to take part in the survey, in order to help current and future students gain insight into potential career paths following their programme of study. Further information about the Graduates Outcomes Survey is available on the HESA website.
How do you take part?
The survey will be conducted by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). Depending on when your course ended, you will receive your survey invitation around 15 months later.
You will receive an email from HESA on behalf of Queen Mary University inviting you to complete the survey online. Please note, you may also be contacted by telephone. HESA has appointed a third party surveyor to call graduates to encourage survey participation over the phone. They will identify themselves as calling on behalf of Queen Mary University.
The table below shows when you’ll be surveyed:
|End of course||Survey invitation|
|August - October 2019||December 2020|
|November 2017 - January 2020||March 2021|
|February - April 2020||June 2021|
|May - July 2020||September 2021|
How will your data be used?
Your responses will be used by Queen Mary, higher education funding and regulatory bodies and other organisations primarily for research and statistical purposes.
Please note that your individual answers will not be used to make decisions about you.
The Student Privacy Notice details how we will collect, use and protect your personal data.
