The School of Business and Management was proud to celebrate our postgraduate students by hosting MSc Marketing’s Culture Night.

Students were invited to celebrate the diversity of their community, to learn about other cultures and to showcase their own culture through music, art or dance. The event was organised by MSc Programme Directors, Dr Mina Tajvidi and Dr Arash Valipour, with assistance from the School’s Events Assistant, Dharmit Mehta. There were a range of performances on the night, from traditional dances to karaoke, all accompanied by food and activities.

Reflecting on the success of the evening, Dr Tajvidi said “Dr Valipour and I were glad that our students had the opportunity to learn about different cultures and traditions and to connect with one another on a deeper level.

Students were super happy with the event, and we've received highly positive feedback, with many saying it was a very nice break in their heavy semester.  One student wrote to us: "Thank you so much for the lovely event. We had a great time. The setup was lovely, thank you for the delicious food and the merchandise. It will truly be something that will always remind us of this University."

Special thanks to Dr Yasmin Ibrahim and Dr Patrick McGurk for their support.
