School of Business and Management co-hosts five day development programme with Amity College of Commerce and Finance

Amity Academic Staff College, in association with Amity College of Commerce and Finance (ACCF) and the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London have organised a five day online Faculty Development Programme on “The New Normal in Accounting”.  The programme will take place from 15-19 March 2021, 2pm - 7pm (IST).

The School of Business and Management are delighted to co-host the programme, which will be delivered to participants in India via virtual sessions.

The recent changes in business scenario has led to the emergence of many new areas of Accounting like Forensic Accounting for detecting frauds and irregularities, Green, Social and Sustainability Accounting as businesses are now accountable to all stakeholders, Ethics in Accounting to ensure responsibility and integrity of the accounting profession, sustainability reporting on the basis of Triple Bottom Line etc.

This Faculty Development Programme aims to equip faculty, research scholars and industry professional with subject-specific knowledge in these contemporary areas of Accounting. FDP will be delivered by experts from professional bodies in accounting to acquaint faculty with the latest developments in the said fields. 

The objectives of the Faculty Development Programme are:

  • To address the continually transforming learning needs of contemporary issues in accounting education like Forensic Accounting, Green, Social and Sustainability Accounting, Integrated or Sustainability Reporting, Latest Accounting Trends etc.
  • It will provide exhaustive learning in such areas to make teaching, learning and practice more effective.
