The School of Economics & Finance (SEF) at Queen Mary University of London encourages outstanding postdoctoral scholars to apply to the 2023 round of the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship Scheme.
Fellows will be part of our dynamic research environment. SEF is one of the leading UK Economics and Finance departments, with more than 40 research active faculty, and a vibrant community of PhD students involved in world class research in applied microeconomics, macroeconomics, microeconomic theory, econometrics, empirical and theoretical finance. Located in London’s thriving East End, at Mile End campus and the doorsteps of the City, the School is hosted in state-of-the-art facilities in the New Graduate Centre. The UK’s most inclusive Russell Group University according to The Times, Queen Mary is a multi-faculty university with over 28,000 students, 4,400 members of staff and 5 campuses around London.
We would be delighted to hear from postdoctoral candidates working in relevant subject areas who are considering applying to the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship Scheme.
We are able to support a limited number of fellowship applications and will offer individual support and feedback in preparing applications to candidates selected to be put forward to the funder following our internal section process, details of which are below.

Your application will be considered internally by the VP Group, and you will be notified whether you have been selected to submit your application to the Leverhulme Trust by the end of December. Submission to the Leverhulme Trust must take place by the 23 February 2023.
