Harold Jenkins’ lecture notes on ‘As You Like It’ formed part of a series of lectures he delivered on Shakespeare
Jenkins taught on Elizabethan and Jacobean drama and was the first chair of English in 1954 at Westfield College.
He published essays on Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ and ‘Twelfth Night,’ and in 1954 he also published a work titled ‘The Structural Problem in Henry IV’ which was delivered as his inaugural lecture at Westfield College.
