Forensic Medicine

The Cameron Forensic Medical Sciences was established at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in February 2006 with the appointment as Professor of Forensic Medical Sciences of Professor Peter Vanezis. In the summer of 2018, Professor Nikolas P Lemos became the Director of Cameron Forensic Medical Sciences and Professor of Forensic Medical Sciences.

The Cameron Forensic Medical Sciences was established to fulfill an urgent need for a viable forensic medical centre in London and the South East of England which would aim to promote a high standard of academic excellence. The Group now acts as a stimulus and hub for the development of academic Forensic Medicine and related Forensic Medical Sciences in the Greater London area and further afield.
