Profile

As a sociophonetician, I am mainly interested how speakers pronounce L1 and L2 as well as the factors involved in the processes leading the speakers towards phonological variation within the sociological context they are immersed in. As an addendum to this paradigm, I also have a predilection for delving into the subtle psychological and sociolinguistic nuances characterizing the speakers’ pronunciation in line with the words/phrases they choose to express their thoughts and feelings.
