The DreamLab Programme is a group-based psychological-educational course that has specifically been designed to help young people develop concrete and positive plans for their future. The programme has been developed by a group of psychologists led by Professor Michael Pluess from QMUL. The programme helps young people to identify and develop a personal ‘good dream’ based on their individual passions, skills and the needs they perceive around them, before identifying and actively pursuing specific steps to realise that dream.
The programme builds on established psychological concepts and empirical research. It will be a mix of teaching, exercises and guided small group activities. Topics that will be covered include: Why are dreams important? What is a ‘good dream’? How do I identify my own dream? How do I pursue my dream?
The DreamLab Programme is open to all QMUL penultimate and final year students (undergraduate and postgraduate). There is no fee to attend the programme.
There will be four 3-hour weekly sessions over consecutive weeks during term-time. Sessions will be held online (via Zoom). The dates and times for the next course are:
Please ensure you can attend the whole course as each week covers vital parts of the programme.
