Research

We study and teach the psychology of humans and animals. We emphasise an interdisciplinary approach, focused at the interface between psychology (perception, cognition, communication and social life) and biology (genomics, neuroscience, ethology and evolution).

Our multi-disciplinary department interacts with researchers from across Science and Engineering, The School of Medicine and Dentistry and Arts and Humanities.

The research of Psychology is embedded in the Centre for Brain and Behaviour
