Queen Mary celebrates five years of medical graduates at Malta Campus
On 16 July, Queen Mary University of London celebrated the fifth graduation ceremony at its Malta Campus, as 68 medical students from 27 nationalities graduated from its five-year medicine programme. The ceremony, celebrated in Gozo, was attended by the Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, alongside other senior representatives from the Maltese Government, healthcare sector and education community.

Queen Mary Malta Campus Teddy Bear Hospital clinics help children overcome anxieties about visiting the doctor
On Wednesday, 13 November, 50 primary school students participated in Teddy Bear Hospital clinics at St Francis Primary School in Victoria Gozo. 18 student volunteers from Queen Mary, Malta Campus ran the clinics providing the children with a fun and educational afternoon.

Queen Mary Malta Campus starts new academic year, plans community events
Queen Mary University of London, Malta Campus and its medical degree programme have reopened for the new academic year and welcomed 64 new first year students to the historic capital of Gozo. Now in its fourth year of operation on the Islands, the University offers its internationally renowned five-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme and is already attracting students from around the world.

Hiking for Mental Health: BL Malta Psychiatry Society organises 3rd Annual Gozo Coastal Charity Walk
Queen Mary Malta students have taken volunteering to a new level. The 3rd Annual Gozo Coastal Charity Walk at the end of April saw a group of Medicine students embark on an ambitious hike across the northern island of Gozo. Walking around 50 kilometers (about 31.07 mi) in one day, the scenic coastal route took students from the starting point in Marsalforn Bay to Nadur, Mgarr, Xlendi, San Lawrenz and back to Marsalforn.
