How did you find the teaching and learning?

Studying LLM in Tax law at QMUL has been an investment in the development of my working life. I found the course curriculum to be very challenging but rewarding.

What was key about your programme/ were there any highlights?

Professors provided me with practical knowledge and at the same time gave me a head start and prospects for the growth my knowledge in the world of tax law. Lectures were extremely interesting and included many case studies, which has made it easier to assimilate all the lessons. Additionally, the curriculum is built on the idea of inter-professional collaboration.

What was your best experience of studying at Queen Mary?

I will always be grateful for all the support and help that I have received.

What influenced your decision to choose a LLM at Queen Mary?

When I received offers, I asked myself ‘which university could be a steppingstone to your future career?’ and the answer was the QMUL.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

Your experience at QMUL will turned into a journey that you never thought possible, and through personal effort and studying in the end of the day you could not be more grateful for your choice.

Has gaining a deeper understanding of your specialisation helped your career?

The LLM in Tax Law has given me the knowledge and skills needed as a tax advisor and let me make connections with global organisations and led me to my current employment at EY Luxembourg.
