What influenced your decision to choose Queen Mary?

I have decided to apply for a PhD at Queen Mary after finishing my LLM in Media Law at Queen Mary. I have chosen Queen Mary because it was the only European University to offer modules and research programs about Interactive Entertainment Law.

How did you find the teaching and learning?

Studying at Queen Mary is a privilege. You have the chance to encounter numerous colleagues from different nationalities with their own insights and research approach. Also, teaching was one of my favourite activities and I am glad Queen Mary provides PhD students with so many opportunities in terms of teaching, learning and research. To conclude, Queen Mary simply was the best choice for my career.

Has gaining a deeper understanding of your specialisation helped your career?

The LLM was the game-changer of my career. In fact, during research and learning, I simply figured out that researching, teaching, and learning will be my future.

What was your best experience of studying at QMUL?

Being a Teaching Associate was probably the most interesting experience. Engaging with PG students from many different cultural and legal backgrounds impacts your teaching and how you convey your message to them. The teaching associate experience is probably what definitely convinced me to pursue a career in Academia.
