What influenced your decision to choose a LLM at Queen Mary?

I wanted to study copyright law and music law in particular. Queen Mary is renowned for both with Professors from around the world with esteemed practical expertise.

How did you find the teaching and learning?

The teaching and learning was challenging for a non-native speaker but once you are accustomed to the rhythm it becomes an enjoyable and complete learning experience.

What was key about your programme/ were there any highlights?

The Professors were really available, helpful and supportive beyond the classic settings, I am still in contact with some of them. I particularly enjoyed the many esteemed intervenants who came to our classes to explain from a practical perspective the areas we were studying.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

Students should appreciate the availability of teachers and valuable interactions and advice they can provide.

What was your best experience of studying at QMUL?

Participating in the qLegal programme street lab taught me new skills and allowed me to meet other students from different programmes and gain valuable knowledge beyond my speciality. The tutorial lessons are a great way for freely discussing topics in small groups and test your knowledge.

Would you be willing to share your Testimonial? If so, you could help a prospective student to make an informed choice to study at Queen Mary. (Class of 2020 and 2021 only).
