Queen Mary's Professor of Human Rights Law, Merris Amos, has written for the Conversation about plans to replace the 1998 Act with a new UK Bill.
She wrote: "Authoritarian methods for achieving constitutional change are unbalanced, and used when there is a risk that formal and balanced methods will not deliver the government’s desired outcome.
