Maksymilian Del Mar, Professor of Legal Theory in the School of Law, will speak at a conference on ‘Multiple Legalities: Conflict and Entanglement in the Global Legal Order’, 6-8 July 2020, at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
The conference is part of a research group on Overlapping Spheres of Authority and Interface Conflicts in the Global Order. Professor Del Mar will speak at a plenary panel on ‘Navigating Multiplicity’. The working title for his talk is ‘Imperial Legal Poetics: Language at the Interface of Multiple Legalities’.
Professor Del Mar convenes a related Undergraduate module on ‘Legal Reasoning in a Global Context’. The course also features guest seminars by Professor Ralf Michaels, Professor Hans Lindahl, and Dr Nicole Roughan.
