On 13 May 2019, Dr Davor Jancic, Lecturer in Law at the Department of Law, gave an invited talk in the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels at the International Conference on EU-China 2020 Strategic Agenda for Cooperation.
The conference was organised by the College of Europe and attended by policymakers from the Chinese Mission to the EU, business and industry representatives, representatives of EU institutions, and scholars from a range of disciplines. His talk addressed the rising role of the European Parliament in shaping EU-China relations, and encouraged a lively discussion with attendees.
