Dr Maks Del Mar, Reader in Legal Theory at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), is to deliver the Keynote Lecture at the Joint Conference of the Netherlands Association of Legal Philosophy and the Netherlands Association of the Sociology of Law on “New Perspectives on Active Learning and Teaching in Legal Education”. The conference is hosted by the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, and is to be held on 3 November 2017. Dr Del Mar’s lecture is entitled ‘Educating the Legal Imagination’. Dr Del Mar is presently completing a monograph entitled Artefacts of the Legal Mind: The Role and Value of the Imagination in Legal Thought (for Hart / Bloomsbury).
