International State Crime Initiative (ISCI) present their Rohingya persecution research in Norway and London

The International State Crime Initiative (ISCI) at Queen Mary University of London has been present at a number of conferences in order to raise awareness for the persecution of the Rohingya minority by the Myanmar government.

Professor Penny Green participated in a conversation with former UN Special Rapporteur for Myanmar, Tomas Ojea Quintana, at the Oslo Conference to End the Persecution of the Rohingya. The conference was held at the Nobel Institute, Norway between the 26-27 May 2015. At the same conference, Dr Thomas Macmanus and Alicia de la Cour Venning delivered a paper entitled ‘Genocidal stages and the persecution of Burma’s Rohingya’.

Professor Penny Green and Thomas MacManus also appeared as panelists at UNICEF’s Next Generation Panel Discussion on the Persecution of the Rohingya, 17th June 2015. The event was held at the Google Offices in London.
