How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website.

We also consider students from Finland with the following qualifications: 

  • Ylioppilastutkinto / Studentexamen (Matriculation Examination)

Undergraduate Medicine and Dentistry Admissions

Please note, Finnish high school qualifications are not accepted for admission to our MBBS or BDS programmes that are delivered in London (but they are accepted for all other undergraduate programmes delivered in London). However, the Ylioppilastutkinto / Studentexamen is accepted for admission to our MBBS programme delivered in the Republic of Malta

Postgraduate

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree/ Kandidaatti/ Kandidat (minimum 180 ECTS credits) from a recognised institution; or Bachelor degree (Ammattikorkeakoulututkinto/ Yrkeshögskoleexamen) from a recognised University of Applied Sciences.

UK 1st class degree: 4.5 out of 5; or 2.8 out of 3
UK 2:1 degree: 3.5 out of 5; or 2 out of 3
UK 2:2 degree: 2.5 out of 5; or 1.4 out of 3
