Academic Quality and Standards Board
The Academic Quality and Standards Board (AQSB) is established by the Senate as a sub-board of the Education and Student Experience Board (ESEB).
The Board oversees academic quality and standards across the University. It considers institutional evidence and develops and reviews regulations, policies, and quality assurance processes. It provides assurance to the ESEB that effective arrangements are in place to maintain standards, support a high-quality academic experience, and secure positive student outcomes. In doing so, it oversees compliance with the University’s regulations and quality assurance requirements, as well as relevant external regulatory and sector requirements.
