Governance

Governance refers to the internal structures and organisation for decision-making at Queen Mary. Council and its various committees have superintendence over the work of Queen Mary.

Senate is responsible for the oversight of the academic activity at Queen Mary including academic standards, academic freedom and research.  

Information Governance consists of the policies, procedures and other controls for managing information and complying with legal and operational requirements. It includes Freedom of Information, data protection and records management.
