The School of Business and Management has been expanding steadily and now welcomes over 1,000 new enrolments into taught programmes each September. The Student Support Coordinators will be asked to identify and lead a number of School change projects to improve services for students and staff, drawing on experience in meeting students’ support needs.

 

The Student Support Coordinators will be managed and mentored within the Teaching Services team with the opportunity to experience all sections of the School’s business over the course of the 12-month appointment period, in the service of delivering change projects that will markedly impact our students’ experience.

 

The successful candidates will be educated to at least A Level standard and will ideally have a degree or equivalent experience. Experience of dealing with a high volume of queries and a variety of administrative tasks, as well as creative problem solving skills are essential. The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and excellent literacy and communication skills are also required.

 

These posts are full time, fixed-term appointments for a period of 12 months with an expected start date in September 2017. The starting salary will be in the range of £26,717 to £32,956 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
