The School of Business and Management are looking to recruit two Programmes Administrators to work in a busy student-centred environment within the department performing a selection of tasks associated with the delivery of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

To succeed in the role of Programme Administrator you will  need to: 

 

·         Deliver programme and module administration alongside process improvements,

·         Manage and coordinate the student administration systems and processes to enhance the student-academic cycle of activities,

·         Coordinate tasks in the areas of teaching timetables, seminar allocations, student attendance, and student support, serving as a champion for students’ academic needs and interests,

·         Work as an effective team player.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with significant programme administration experience in Higher Education or the educational private sector. You’ll also have detailed knowledge of procedures, regulations and codes of practice in relation to student administration, together with a creative approach to problem solving. Strong IT skills, with experience of using large databases and an excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office; the ability to work to deadlines and manage your own time and experience of working and communicating collaboratively with key stakeholders, are also essential.

Experience of a using Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), preferably Moodle and/or using SITS, would be desirable.

The post is full time and requires flexibility of working hours during peak times of delivering the academic cycle, with time off in lieu in recognition. Starting salary will be in the range £32,956 - £38,709 per annum inclusive of London Allowance (pay award pending). Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
