Researchers in the School of Business and Management have had their research and practical toolkits for carbon-financial risk included in a report published by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) / World Resources Institute (WRI) "Carbon Asset Risk: WRI and UNEP-FI Portfolio Carbon Initiative".
Professor Colin Haslam in the School of Business and Management has been involved as a technical adviser to this UNEP/WRI report. According to Professor Haslam this report is a very important initiative. He states, "The objective is to inform and influence the investing behaviour of Financial Institutions (FI's) so as to reduce carbon risk when allocating their capital stacks".
