Professor Pedro Martins was invited to present at a high level one day conference at the Institute of Directors (IoD) on Wednesday 01 July 2015. Discussions focused on the future of structural reform in the Eurozone, against the backdrop of a recently published IoD report, which investigates how deflation in parts of the Eurozone may have knock on effects in the UK and the EU.
Among the audience were senior representatives from leading think tanks, EU institutions and national governments.
Professor Martins participated in the panel on 'case studies of southern Europe (Italy, Spain, and Portugal)'.
