We are pleased to announce that recent PhD student Aidan Wong has been awarded the AAG's Economic Geography Speciality Group's Best Dissertation award for 2014. This competitive award of $500 is in recognition of his "outstanding dissertation" entitled, "Waste', Value and Informal Labour: The Regional E-Waste Recycling Production Network in Malaysia and Singapore." Aidan's supervisors were Adrian Smith and Liam Campling. He will be presented with the award at the AAG next week.

Aidan currently holds a post-doc at the National University of Singapore.
