Workshop: International Political Economy and Cross-Border Effects - Papers available for download

Published:

On Thursday 28 April 2011 the Centre for Globalisation Research (CGR) sponsored a one-day workshop at Goodenough College. It's overall aim was to look at cross-border effects within a somewhat wider disciplinary framework than pure economics. The workshop was a forum to discuss the latest political economy related issues. It's goal was to select a small number of papers in order to allow for feedback and debate from participants. Of particular interest were papers that considered the following topics:

Global and regional governance, Human and civil rights, Environmental spillovers and treaties, Development assistance, The role of the World Bank/IMF/WTO and Linkages between trade and governance/human rights/environment.
