Profile

I am a statistician currently working in the Women’s Health department in the Centre for Public Health & Policy.

I completed my PhD at the University of Bath investigating a possible causal impact of Systemic Sclerosis on cancer, with an emphasis on prevalent cohorts. From this I have a background in survival analysis, case-control studies, left-truncated data, and causal inference. My PhD was supervised by Prof Anita McGrogan (University of Bath) and Prof Jonathan Bartlett (currently LSHTM). My PhD was based in the SAMBa CDT (Statistical Applied Mathematics at Bath Centre of Doctoral Training), and I come from a mathematics background, with an MRes as part of the CDT and a MMath undergraduate degree from the University of Exeter.

I have enjoyed tutoring for many years, particularly statistics and data analytics.
