Study and Stress Management

  • Academic Skills have a suite of resources that students can access in their own time. The Library Learning Support and Engagement team offers Queen Mary students and staff various training opportunities and individual support to enable learning and research. More information can be found on the Library Skills pages.
  • Students may also benefit from using the LinkedIn Learning resource, which provides video tutorials on a range of academic, digital, and professional skills, alongside courses supporting the development of resilience and wellbeing. It is accessible for free using QM login details.
  • Visit and follow the QM Counselling Blog, where counsellors explore topics that may impact your emotional and mental wellbeing during your studies. Topics on the blog include managing low mood during winter, looking after yourself over the festive period, and thinking about your wellbeing during assessments/exams.
  • Find out more about Study Well, an initiative to support and improve your mental health and wellbeing while you study at Queen Mary.
  • Use our free Studiosity service to gain access to 24/7 academic support from specialist online tutors. Submit your essay or assignment and receive a response in 8 hours, or feel free to use the live chat function for instant feedback. Whether you are looking for comprehensive feedback on your written assignments, or looking to develop your academic writing skills, Studiosity is here to help at your convenience.
