My research, rooted in practice-based methodologies, delves into the metaphors prevalent in post-9/11 cinema. I am intrigued by the application of videographic criticism techniques to elucidate metaphorical constructs within these films.

By synergizing theoretical and practical approaches, my project includes comprehensive written output but also a series of short films. These films scrutinize themes of patriotism, fear, and identity interrogation inherent in post-9/11 cinema.
