Legal Fortnight

The events include workshops, panel events and skills sessions with representatives from leading law firms, as well as barristers, journalists, recruiters and alumni.

These are open to all Undergraduate Law Students. All sessions will run online.

Monday 12 October

12-1pm: Explore: Where Can Your Law Degree Take You

Solicitor, barrister, journalist, analyst – your law degree opens doors to a wealth of career paths. Come and hear from QM LLB alumni now working at Reed Smith, BBC, Deloitte, DFID and X, and see where your law degree could take you.

Tuesday 13 October

6-7pm: Explore: How to Choose a Firm That Suits You

With so many firms to choose from, working out which to apply to can be overwhelming. In this session alumni from a range of firms, including Bates Wells, Simmons and Simmons and Family Law in Partnership, will speak to you about their career journeys, and offer advice on how best to find a firm that suits you.
