LAW6035 Dissertation

The purpose of the full-year Dissertation Option is to allow students the opportunity to undertake independent research in depth. In conjunction with their supervisors, students will have considerable freedom to plan their reading, research and writing.

The Dissertation Option is not intended to replicate a regularly taught module, but instead should focus on a specific legal topic. Nor is the supervisor expected to provide systematic tutorials on the topic selected. The learning is to be done by the student, with only occasional guidance from the supervisor.

PLEASE SEE THE LAW DEPARTMENT FULL-YEAR DISSERTATION OPTION GUIDELINES (AVAILABLE ON THE LAW STUDENT AREA OF QMPLUS) BEFORE SELECTING THIS MODULE.
