Undergraduate Courses

We pride ourselves on offering a unique learning experience to our students. We have several undergraduate degree programmes to offer, each of which is designed to provide an excellent foundation for a legal career, among others. Our teaching framework is relevant and demanding, and facilitated by leading academics. Our aim is to deliver an enriched learning environment and provide our graduates with knowledge and skills that will last a lifetime.

Undergraduate Law Degree Programmes

Clearing and adjustment

The School of Law have filled their Undergraduate programmes and are no longer taking Clearing applications. If you are interested in other courses at Queen Mary, please see our Clearing Hub.

  • M100 LLB Law (Three years)
    The three-year LLB is recognised as a qualifying law degree by both branches of the legal profession in England and Wales, and allows the appropriate exemptions from professional examination requirements.
  • M101 LLB Law Senior Status (Two years)
    The two-year LLB is an accelerated version of the three-year course, for non-law graduates of an approved university.
  • M105 LLB Global Law (Four years)
    This four-year LLB in Global Law provides the opportunity to spend your third year studying at one of a number of law faculties around the world.
  • M120 LLB English and European Law (Four years)
    This four-year LLB in English and European Law provides the opportunity to spend your third year studying at one of a number of European law faculties.
  • ML13 LLB Law and Politics (Three years)
    This three-year programme is a mix of law and politics modules. It is recognised as a qualifying law degree by both branches of the legal profession in England and Wales, and allows the appropriate exemptions from professional examination requirements.
  • M1N1 LLB Law with Business (Three years)
    This three-year programme is a mix of law and business modules. It is recognised as a qualifying law degree by both branches of the legal profession in England and Wales, and allows the appropriate exemptions from professional examination requirements.
  • M106 LLB English and French Law 
    *Ranked 1st for LLB in English and French Law 2019/2020
    This four-year LLB is run jointly with Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. The first two years build your knowledge of the English legal system in London, and your third and fourth years are spent in Paris studying French and international law. Upon graduation students will qualify to practice law in France, England and Wales.

Placement year options

This programme is not available to apply directly to via UCAS; you should apply for any of the above LLB programmes and you will have the opportunity to make an internal application to transfer onto this four year course at the end of your first year of study.
