What influenced your decision to study at Queen Mary?

My decision to study my LLM at Queen Mary was based on the in-depth legal education and uniqueness of the LLM Art, Business and Law. Queen Mary offered a culturally diverse environment with an extensive legal education base, encouraging and forward-thinking education methods.

How did you find the teaching and learning?

I greatly enjoyed that the teaching was based on an open teacher-student method, encouraging students to share views and ideas with the professors. This gives us an opportunity to constructively build our opinions and develop our ideas on diverse subjects.

Moreover, the program is divided in six modules, three per semester. This gives ample opportunity to engage fully in each subject which is each meticulously and interestingly explained by our professors. The professors are incredibly helpful and communicative with their students, they are always available to answer any questions that we may have concerning teachings or assignments.

What was key about your programme/ were there any highlights?

I found the Queen Mary program introduction sessions incredibly helpful, they give incoming students a sense of the year ahead of them whilst answering any questions one may have.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

I would strongly advise future students to take advantage of the vast number of opportunities given at Queen Mary. I personally got involved as a media officer for the Art Business Society and the Welfare and Promotions Officer for the Queen Mary Student Division of Lawyers Without Borders. Queen Mary also offers tremendous help when it comes to career planning by helping with applications, CVs and much more through seminars, panels and more. I have also been able to discover which career opportunities are possible for me in the near future all whilst learning more about my passions and career ambitions.

Would you be willing to share your Testimonial? If so, you could help a prospective student to make an informed choice to study at Queen Mary. (Class of 2020, 2021 and 2022 only).
