From mid-August 2025: Enrolment.

  • Your Admissions team will confirm your place and invite you to complete Online Enrolment via MySIS.

3 September 2025: Student ID Card Collection.

  • Online Enrolment must be completed -Student Cards will be distributed at the Student Enquiry Centre on the Mile End campus (9:15 AM – 10:30 AM).

3-4 September 2025: Programme induction

A detailed schedule will be available late summer.

The induction programme is designed to:

  • welcome students onto their programme of study.
  • meet the academic and professional services staff and fellow. students on your programme.
  • module selection – information and guidance.
  • learn how to use QMplus online virtual learning.
  • meet the Career teams.
  • intro to Library facilities.
  • Academic skills sessions.

During this semester you will be attending lectures and tutorials.

Please see timetable for more details on the courses offered which are all compulsory.

8-11 September 2025: Fundamentals Of Law and Ethics (IPLC134) – taught twice daily (Intensive 4-day course).

12 September 2025 - 12 December 2025: Weekly teaching starts.

9 October 2025: Fundamentals of Law and Ethics (IPLC134) assessment (Multiple Choice Quiz element).

12 December 2025: Teaching ends.

15 December – 2 January 2026: Study Period.

Semester 1 Examination Period: 8-23 January 2026.

During this semester you will be attending lectures and arranged tutorials. 

Please see timetable for more details on the courses offered which are all compulsory. 

Please note that work on the IPLM205 Study Project work commences in this semester.

25 March - 1 April 2026 (To be confirmed - Please check timetable for latest dates): Intellectual Property in the United States (IPLM148) - taught intensively over this period.

9 February - 7 May 2026: Study Project (IPLM205)- Introductory Session and Mentor allocation and meetings start.

Semester 2 Examination Period: 7 May - 5 June 2026.

5 June – 24 July 2026: Study Project (IPLM205)- continue working with allocated Mentor.

End of June/Early July 2026 (Exact date TBC): Study Project (IPLM205)- Group and Individual Presentations Day.

24 July – End of August 2026: Project (IPLM205)-writing up and completion period.

End of August 2026 (Exact date TBC): Report (IPLM205) Submission.

Resit Examination Period: 3 – 14 August 2026.
