Enrolment

From mid-August 2023: Enrolment

  • Your Admissions team will confirm your place and invite you to complete Online Enrolment via MySIS 
  • Please check your junk/clutter email regularly as often Queen Mary’s communications may be received in here

6 September 2023: Student ID Card Collection

  • Online Enrolment must be completed -Student Cards will be distributed at the Student Enquiry Centre on the Mile End campus (09:00 – 10:00)

Induction

6–8 September 2023: PG Law Induction (1 weeks)

A schedule will be available later summer. The induction programme is designed to:

  • welcome students onto their programme of study
  • meet the academic and professional services staff and fellow students on your programme
  • module information and guidance
  • learn how to use QMplus online virtual learning
  • meet the Career teams
  • intro to Library facilities
  • Academic skills sessions

Semester 1 (A23): 11 September – 15 December 2023

During this period you will be attending lectures and tutorials.

  • 11–14 September 2023: Fundamentals of Law and Professional Ethics (IPLC134) – taught twice daily (Intensive)
  • 15 September 2023: main teaching starts - classes are held normally Friday and/or Saturday (varies per module and subject to change)
  • 13 October 2023 Fundamentals of Law (IPLC134) assessment (Multiple Choice Quiz element)
  • 15 December 2023 Semester ends - Teaching may finish one week earlier TBC
  • 15 December 2023 – 4 January 2024 Study Period
  • January examinations Online Examinations – IPLC136 - 10 January 2024 / IPLC132 - 15 January 2024.
  • 4 January 2024 Fundamentals of Law (IPLC134) Course Essay Submission 

Semester 2 (B23): 22 January – 5 April 2024

During this period you could be attending lectures and tutorials. Scheduled classes may finish earlier in early March 2024.

  • 22 January 2024 IPLC137 usually taught Friday/ Saturday. First class provisionally scheduled for 26 January.
  • 10 May 2024 Online Examination IPLC137
  • Late May 2024 Resit Period - Sem 1 modules
  • August 2024 Resit Period - Sem 2 module
