Sanmeet is a Reader at Queen Mary University of London and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Sanmeet joined Queen Mary in 2019. Sanmeet teaches in Contract Law, Law in Context and Tort Law. Sanmeet has also previously taught the Graduate Diploma in Law and has previously taught Administrative Law, English Legal Systems, Legal Skills.

Sanmeet is also the Deputy Director for Student Experience at the Law School and prior to joining Queen Mary, Sanmeet worked at The City Law School for 11 years and was the Associate Dean for Student Experience and prior to that she held various roles including Assessments Officer, Senior Personal Tutor and Programme Director for the LLB.

Sanmeet’s research interests include legal education and skills.

Sanmeet's publications include, Unlocking Torts, Elliott & Quinn's English Legal System, and The Insider's Guid to Legal Skills.

Sanmeet has held visiting posts at various institutions, Université Catholique de Lille, University College London and University of Surrey.

Sanmeet is fluent in speaking Punjabi and Hindi.
