Visiting Professor Dan Squires KC appointed to the High Court

The School of Law warmly congratulates Visiting Professor Dan Squires KC on his appointment to the High Court as The Honourable Mr Justice Squires.

Mr Justice Squires has been a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London since 2013. His appointment was announced by the Judicial Appointments Commission, and took effect on 1 October 2026.

This well-deserved appointment is a fitting recognition of his distinguished legal career and contribution to the legal profession. We are delighted to celebrate this significant achievement and look forward to maintaining our valued association with Mr Justice Squires.
