Professor Maks Del Mar, Professor of Legal Theory and Legal Humanities, spoke on the influence of the history of rhetoric on Adam Smith’s moral and legal theory at the Tercentenary Celebrations of Adam Smith’s birth in Glasgow.
The workshop was part of a week-long series of events at the University of Glasgow, where Adam Smith was Professor of Moral Philosophy. Professor Del Mar has long-standing interests in Scottish moral and legal thought and in the relations between rhetorical, literary, and legal history.
