QM Law alumni get together in Ghana

Published:

Queen Mary School of Law hosted an alumni reception at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana, on 28 April.

Alumni, spanning the 1990s to recent 2018 graduates, attended the event.  Many were already friends who were reunited on the evening.  As well as networking with one another, attendees also met fifteen prospective students, many of whom already worked closely together in the field.  Attendees welcomed the opportunity to network, expand the alumni group and attend future events.

Law Marketing Manager Petrova Lewis said: "It was a really great event and I was thrilled that Irene Chiaki Korley-Ayerteye (2018) and Cornelis Otoo (2017) supported the offer holder presentation by advocating their experiences and QMUL”. During Petrova’s time in Ghana Irene also arranged a visit to the Law School she teaches at, and a CCLS/LLM presentation was given to more than 60 law students.

If you are a QMUL Alumni living in Ghana and would like to attend future events, please contact the CCLS Alumni team.
