Professor Rafael Leal-Arcas acts as chair in investment arbitration at the ECT conference

Rafael Leal-Arcas, Professor of European and International Economic Law at Queen Mary's Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), acted as chair in the panel “Alternatives to ECT investment arbitration for EU energy disputes?” This panel was part of the conference The EU and investment arbitration under the Energy Charter Treaty, which took place in Barts and the London Dental Hospital on 11-12 February 2016. The conference, which was organised by Queen Mary, brought together legal experts, practitioners and policy-makers to discuss the interaction of EU law with investment arbitration under the Energy Charter Treaty.
