Professors Guido Westkamp, Uma Suthersanen and Graham Dutfield present at CIRES, Ivory Coast

Professors Guido Westkamp, Uma Suthersanen and Graham Dutfield presented on geographical indications, traditional knowledge and cultural expressions, competition law, licensing practices and WTO law at the Centre Ivoirien de Recherches Economiques et Sociales (CIRES), Abidjan, Ivory Coast from 24-27 February 2015.

The event was attended by delegates from three partner institutions under the Enhancing Intellectual Property Capacities for Agricultural Development - IP4Growth project. The project, funded by the European Commissions' Edulink program, aims to increase Intellectual Property awareness in sustainable agriculture in Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
