Alicia de la Cour Venning, an International State Crime Initiative (ISCI) Researcher at the School of Law Queen Mary University of London, was interviewed by CNN on the violence against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. Referring to the Rohingya population, Alicia said: “They have been faced with absolutely deplorable living conditions to the point where they feel as though they have no other option but to risk their life on the high seas, fleeing their country.” Watch the whole interview here.
