Dr Costanza Russo: Law and Ethics in Finance Project group respond to Banking Standards Review
Sir Richard Lambert unveiled his plan on 19 May for the creation of a new independent body, the Banking Standard Review Council, to raise the standards of behaviour and competence across the UK banking industry.
Dr Costanza Russo, together with other experts, responded to the consultation paper that formed the basis for the Banking Standards Review Council proposal.
Dr Russo, Lecturer in International Banking Law and in Business Ethics at Queen Mary, is part of the Law and Ethics in Finance Project group with Sir William Blair, Sir Ross Cranston, Robin Knowles CBE QC, Professor David Kershaw, Dame Elizabeth Fradd, Dr Dan Awrey and Andrew Whittaker.
