Dr Maks Del Mar has edited two special issues of two leading journals, exploring key aspects of legal reasoning.
The first issue is on 'Legal Fictions', and appears in Volume 9, Issue 4 of the International Journal of Law in Context. Dr Del Mar is sole guest editor of this issue, and his own contribution is entitled 'Legal Fictions and Legal Change'.
The other special issue is on 'Exemplary Narratives in Law and Legal Reasoning', and is published in Volume 25, Issue 3, of Law & Literature. Dr Del Mar is co-editor of this issue with Dr Randy Gordon which also includes Dr Del Mar's contribution, entitled 'Exemplarity and Narrativity in the Common Law Tradition'.
Dr Del Mar, Senior Lecturer in Law and Philosophy, teaches on legal reasoning in the LLM programme, offering 'The Legal Mind: The Practice and Politics of Legal Reasoning'.
